Breathwork certification is a great way to upskill your skills in breathwork, whether you want to teach it professionally or simply add it to your existing yoga and meditation classes. It can also be a valuable tool for healing and personal growth.

What to look for in a breathwork training

Before you decide to enroll in a breathwork certification course, ask yourself what your main priorities are. Are you hoping to gain more experience in the breathwork field, or are you looking for a program that will help you to build a new career?

Having these priorities will help you to make better decisions and find a breathwork certification course that meets your needs. It will also ensure that you are spending time with a teacher who is a good match for your values, philosophies, and approach to breathwork.

What to avoid in a breathwork certification programme

Many breathwork courses are heavily associated with their instructors, and while this is fine as long as you are open to learning from them, it can also be a negative factor if the instructor is not someone you resonate with energetically.

It’s important to research the beliefs and philosophies of the instructor before you sign up for any breathwork certification course. This will ensure that you’re going to enjoy your training and be able to draw inspiration from it.

The best breathwork certification programs will give you a variety of ways to learn, including video and text lessons, live sessions, and year-end retreats. They will also give you plenty of support and guidance to help you on your journey as a breathwork teacher or practitioner.

The whiskey distilling revolution has exploded in the last decade, and it’s no secret that Detroit is among the biggest markets for artisanal spirits. But can Detroit distillers make their mark on the world?

If you’ve ever wondered what makes Detroit distillery such a unique place to distill, just think back to the roaring twenties. Prohibition turned some beer drinkers into whiskey tipplers, while the city’s proximity to Canada made it easy for bootleggers to cross the border and bring in higher-proof alcohol.

Today, that same spirit of entrepreneurship is fueling Detroit’s small distilleries, many of which are located in the same old industrial buildings where Detroit once made brandy and whiskey. These newcomers are taking a page out of the playbook from the past and building on the foundations laid by longtime residents, while also embracing modern science to craft spirits that will stand the test of time.

From Grain to Glass: An Inside Look at Detroit’s Most Innovative Distillery

Valentine Distilling, Two James Spirits and Detroit City Distillery are just three of the local spots that are producing spirits you can’t find anywhere else in the state. They’re a testament to the fact that Michigan is in the heart of the craft spirit movement, and they are also a good example of how the old can be paired with new technology to bring fresh flavors to the table.

A few of these Detroit distilleries have even taken on the role of wedding venue, allowing couples to create an unforgettable experience in a one-of-a-kind space. At The Whiskey Factory, they can host a reception and then walk across the street to celebrate in their barrel-aged spirit bar.
